When Kevin Yankton built his '94 Aero he deleted the balance shafts and had me lighten and shot peen his flywheel, these '94 up 9000 flywheels are easy to safely cut the weight in half on so I feel it's a "must do" while doing other performance mods! I go a step further now and add weight to the crankshaft counter weights so the balance shaft removal doesn't cause any extra vibrations.

Also I've lightened crankshafts in the rod journal area which in effect makes the counter weights heavier!
