I've already used up the real estate on my A pillar for boost/vac and my wideband A/F and looking at relocating my headlight switch and popping one in there.
I'm running a stage 4 JZW tune on my Viggen and realistically could see myself getting forged pistons and some other goodies down the road, but I don't think I'll see over about 360hp, as I don't want to deviate from the stock turbocharger geometry (sticking with a bolt on turbo).
Given that, which would give me more crucial information, especially with regards to engine safety? Using it as a troubleshooting tool is really a secondary function, more for safety than anything. My thought is any shortcomings in fuel pressure at WOT will show up on either or both of the EGT gauge and the A/F ratio gauge, hence the EGT gauge would be more useful.
Thoughts?? I'm hoping the collective intelligence of Saabnet will guide me to the right choice!
