Update: Due to the mix up on the Vin serial number, my emissions test was performed AFTER I sent back the tuned ecu to be reprogrammed with actual VIN. As a result, it actually passed emissions with the OE ECU rather than tuned ECU. Two years later (now) when I went in for emissions in Ontario, the test aborted due to one of the testing parameters not being present (it did not fail - the test would not complete). I had to swap my original OE one back and it passed without drama. The tuned ECU never threw any codes or CEL so I assumed everything was ok. The tune noticeably increased performance,eg. overboost and I like the enhanced SID but as I have since found out, my engine tended to seep more oil, especially at the right rear (pass side) probably due to increased pressures. Is less now that the OE ECU is back in place with lower pressure. My aging mind can't recall now what test or monitor was missing.Hopefully, their new programs have fixed this.
