We're going back in one month to set some more records. I've been trying to find a video or a still photo of the car going down the track. My crew chief said that when following the car on the return road, he couldn't see the car, just a cloud of grey salt behind it. That's something that I would have guessed from a monster engine car that has 4000 pounds of ballast. Anyway, I couldn't see any of that behind me, but it must have looked pretty funny with it casting off the clouds of salt.
We collected about 100 pounds of salt from the car in Colorado on the way home during a cleanup. After spraying 6 - 8 cans of Pam cooking spray in the wheel wells and body panels, the stuff pretty much fell off.
