First Swedish Dynamics box, now 3 bar & red tops, now CEL? - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
Finally threw a SD APC in my '90 SPG two weeks ago. Lots of fun. Thought I'd add a set of red top injectors and a 3 bar FPR on Sunday to see if there was any noticeable difference. Seems a bit more aggressive in acceleration, but now I'm getting a CEL. Seemed like it happens mostly while idling at a light or following behind someone where my Rs are staying low. Once I get it up over 2500 rpms, the CEL will go off. What's going on? My guess would be that the O2 is sniffing too rich a mix in the lower rpms. Yes? Alternative to this situation? Remedy? Thanks in advance to anybody that responds! Cheers, Bob
