9-3 engine mounts

A friend of mine just installed a set of new engine mounts on his Impreza RS. They are a few steps stiffer than stock, thus allowing little engine movement. The result is much more precise, better, and faster shifts. I was wondering if anyone had done anything in a NG900 or 9-3 similar to this. I have a slushbox, so I probably wouldn't have any reason to do anything about it (although it might make for a better shifting auto tranny??), but I was just curious as to whether or not this was something others had considered.
