Hey Kevin... Initial timing i ran was 16BTDC with the stop in a stock vac advance bent to get more retard under boost... this is before I swapped to AID unit... got my mechanic to set timing to 20BTDC...
thought it should be better off the start but feels car has a stutter as it builds up through boost... so I should advance timing more then... not retard to say 18BTDC???
this has me stumped, as car felt much more linear with old timing and old stock vac advance module... however, it does hold boost a lot better now... its just getting to max boost is the problem... thought that 20BTDC should give better off boost repsonse?
i only ever use 98RON fuel too... had distributor rebuilt 6months ago and ignition components all tested OK
cheers for any advice Kevin! :)
