in answer to your ?s:
What voltage readings do you get as the boost rises?
> at idle i get sweeps from first light green to last light lean in very regular sweeps, under cruise it oscillates maybe to last lean light and only in orange light (stoich) area, under boost and at max boost it heads to 3rd, 4th and sometimes 5th light... but i believe these gauges aint that accurate anyways...
What's the temperature down under right now?
>its start of summer and today was about 30C... night temps around 17C... but we can get peaks of 38-42C.
Is it running rough off boost, maybe it's leaning out at the boost rises?
>no rough running off boost, just a jerky feel as boost rises... maybe wastegate or APC solenoid i was thinking??? dunno... at idle i get a regular 20"hg and no idle fluctuations at all - strong at 850rpm. Its like as boost rises, the car slightly lurches or even misses, but still pulls to that max level quite quickly... its just not reflected in actual performance! as kevin says, it should be a strong, linear pull all the way with no lurching...
if ya have any ideas...
catch ya!
