A couple of interesting points in that post! Now remember, my mind is simple in these matters, but up to a point, aren't engines more efficient at higher temps? Agree on the gunk-free motor...but they have to be protected from rust...perhaps a light coating of black engine paint...radiators are painted black for a reason right? While on the topic, things like the underside of the intake could be covered with a reflective coating on the bottom to ward off heat rising off the block, and painted black on the top to get rid of heat...hmmmmmmmm.
