Sonett Progress & 10 CD Changer Installed Posted by Scott Paterson [Email] (#13) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Scott Paterson) on Tue, 09 May 2000 01:25:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've been having a really hard time figuring out why my Sonett was running so rough. I thought it was a carb problem, so I ordered a rebuild kit from Weber and performed that. When I put everything back together, the car ran great for 48 hours and then rough running returned. I once again adjusted the timing and spent more time with the idle air adjustment screw and that made the problem disappear. Anybody know where that one should generally be set (1/2 turn?).
With the car running smoothly again (still a little rough when cold), I proceeded with my long-delayed 10 CD changer installation. Wow, with such a wide open dash in a car, it took less than an hour. Now I just need some new speakers.
