Stephen, I measured the internal diameter (ID) of a set of rear springs I have on the shelf and they are 90mm. The front springs have the same ID as well. What I did on my 73 was to replace the old front springs (12mm) with new 14mm springs and used the old front springs on the rear replacing the 10mm ones. This gave me a slightly higher ride height and again a slightly stiffer ride. I have heard from several people that state the MSS springs are VERY STIFF. Perhaps they are intended for a race set up? A short time ago (month or so) there was a used MSS set on ebay. The seller stated he had them on the car for only 500 miles and removed them due to their extreme stiffness.
