In my photo gallery under the Sonett parts album I have posted a photo of the two bolts that are part of the headlamp lift mechanism, that must be removed before taking the hood off. The lift mechanism bolt passes through a sleeve that should be removed with the bolt. I don't have A/C on my car, but if you can attach a picture perhaps I, or someone else can offer a helpful suggestion. Take a picture of the A/C compressor mounting as well. Some times the compressor can be moved without disconnecting the A/C lines. One suggestion, before you take your hood off, cut some blocks of wood sized to fit between the upper frame member (above the radiator) and the hood. Use these blocks of wood as spacers to locate the hood when you are re-installing it. Posts in this Thread:
