The '74 Sonett III calipers (single piston; mine say Lockheed on the cylinders) are the same as those on V4-powered 95s and 96es, but I don't think those from later models are a direct replacement. (Of course, you can make *anything* work if you try hard enough! -- e.g., Chris Moberg has Wilwood racing calipers on his 'Yellow Thunder' Sonett.)
However, the stock calipers should easily be up to the demands of the occasional autocross --at least, I don't have any trouble with mine -- so there shouldn't be any real reason to change them. If they don't leak or stick, you might not need to rebuild them, although you'll want to check the flex hoses (can cause sticking if they're deteriorated inside), lubricate the pivots with disc brake grease, etc.
If you want to clean them up further, it's not too hard to get them off the car except that the mounting bolts probably have rusted. The construction of the caliper itself is pretty simple -- you can pop out the piston, slide the cylinder out of the frame, and get everything all cleaned up. A rebuild kit (piston seal and wiper seal) is still available from Beck-Arnley for about $10, and Motor Sport Service lists pistons in their catalog for about $22. That should about cover all you'd need to do to it, although do check the pivot bolt for wear as I'm told they can break, which causes the frame to fall apart!
I'm certainly no expert mechanic, but I just redid one of mine and it was pretty easy once I got the @#$% bolts loose, so you shouldn't have much of a problem.
