Gas cap dents

Has anyone had any success getting a dent out of a wasso 5 sided locking gas cap. I have a really nice one but it has a dent in it. I know these were not stock on Sonetts but I have always liked the look. The dent is kind of big which could be a good thing. Will it pop out when heated?
