This problem is with the Inner CV joint. The flat surface inside the bell where the T engages is rippled enough to notice. It seems worse then the other "bells" I have. I assume this is from the blowout because nothing else appears bad, and the axle now pops and shimmies. I hope this is not normal wear because that would mean something worse deeper in the tranny. I did find an old post saying that I could trade sides with the bells and move contact to alternate surfaces. I'll save that for in case I can't find a replacement old style bell.
