I've had this happen twice on 2 different Sonetts, same easy fix worked on both of them. Polish up and grease both ends of the grounding braid that attaches at the back of the engine and on the fenderwell below the coil. It's also best to replace the rusty nuts and bolts involved and be sure to polish both sides of the fenderwell so the bolt connects well. You may have to take the tire off if the stud under the coil spins on it's rusted nut. Better to do it now instead of on the road.
