After replacing my 3rd hydraulic brake light switch, I'm considering converting to a mechanical switch. The response is faster, and I want to do my best to keep some driver who is texting from plowing into the car.
It involves installing a momentary switch at the brake pedal that closes the circuit as soon as the pedal is pushed off the resting position.
Has anyone done this already?
