Re: Sonett stalling issues - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
I'm having the same issue this week after 6 years of flawless operation. Runs fine for about 10 minutes and then slowly dies. When I turn the key I can't hear the electric pump until it (I assume) cools down. After sitting for 20 minutes it will start right up but then die again in 5-10 minutes. Pump is pumping fuel when it pumps, confirmed by disconnecting the carb side of the fuel pump. Installing a new AC Delco pump when it comes in and crossing my fingers. The upgraded Weber 40DCNF has a manual choke. I put in a new coil because the old one was getting very hot but that did not solve the issue. Will be watching for any more ideas and also update when I install the new pump.
