yep, this is the same behavior I have observed in mine even after a new electric pump. I adjusted the mixture and the idle a bit which seemed to only prolong the inevitable, slow, steady path to a stall. I cannot see how this could be anything but fuel related. I would an electrical interrupt to stop the engine immediately. The engine is pretty smooth when running so the timing is good. I plan to check the jets next and then take it in for a rebuild or something like that at an expert shop. The font of "for sale" sign on this car is getting clearer...
