adding electric fuel pump
Posted by Matthew B Coe [Email] (more from Matthew B Coe) on Mon, 24 Oct 2016 08:27:17
Any pointers for adding an electric fuel pump to my 73 Sonett III would be appreciated. I'm thinking of using the Airtex E8012S, installing very close to fuel tank and keeping original mechanical pump. If there is a link to threads here I can look regarding installing it let me know.
The car has a Weber 34ICH carb and we have constant vapor lock issues here in the warm FL weather. We've insulated the entire fuel line and the bottom of the carb which helped but vapor lock persists when its warm enough out.
