It is the rubber pad that goes around the bottom can of the 71-74 wiper motor housing. It goes in between the housing and the strap that mounts the unit to the chassis. And there are 2 rubber plugs down the long axis of the cable link mechanism that is also shot. I think I will just epoxy that to keep the grease in the housing though.
I've found what I think will work from Moss Motors. I guess the TR6 used a similar (but not exact) motor.
Sorry I can't get a picture right now. Car is at a different location.
