Re: Sonett wreck in AZ - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
the windshield was good! The gremlins I had planned on working out was a wiring issue causing the AC fans (2) to come on with the ignition. A rattle or two in the cabin around the AC evaporator area. Re-glue the light bar. I had been contemplating a refrigerant conversion to R34a with the help of a good local shop. I just put in a new speedo cable so that worked great. Everything else was in good working order.... The online auction site showed that it sold. I hope it can go to good use or be rebuilt. It was a gem and I miss it, but I suppose it is time to move on. I still have a SAAB 9000 Aero that is in good shape but I can't get good help around here so I am sensing that I may have to move it sometime in the mid term future.
