I have Tranny fluid leaking from the dash end of the cable. It's seeping out behind the chrome lip at the bottom of the speedo. The collar seemed to be on tight. I cleaned the end of the cable and back of the speedo, reconnected the cable, took it for a short drive and had more fluid below the gauge and at the end of the cable. So far it doesn't look like it is getting inside the gauge. Any Ideas?
Also have a question about the floor shifter which I installed in my 68 back in the 70's. I never rerouted the wires for the reverse lights untill recently when I installed aftermarket LED lights on my modified rear end. I wasted a lot of time troubleshooting untill I dicovered I was using the wrong switch. What is the switch on the left side of the shifter for.
