Scarce & Rare - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
Anyone who is selling a Sonett III seams to always use these terms. I don’t know if it is the area I live in (Columbus Ohio) or just random selection but in the last 20 years or so I have located no less than 13 Sonetts within a 20 mile radius of my house and 3 more an hour away. Just after purchasing mine I was showing it off to a good friend and he introduces me to his neighbor who has 3. I soon found 3 more that I dragged home for almost free. Two more where in Dayton Ohio with a buy one get one free deal for the asking price $500. The last four on Craig’s List where listed in the same week by 2 different sellers just about a month ago. The two in Westerville where complete and one of them was in running condition. His asking price was $2700 for both. The other 2 where refugees from the salvage yard but had titles and I doubt he got his price of $800 each. I just must put this out there. Are they truly scarce or am I just lucky?
