Hi Jon,
First off, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my dad about 10 years ago and it was a difficult transition, even though I had moved away and had a family of my own. He was a very hands-on guy- we never had a plumber or a carpenter or an electrician at home because he did it himself. Same with mechanics- the only time a car was in the shop was for a inspection or tires. He did everything himself. Hence, for several years after his passing, I would do some work on a car or the house and think "I need to call dad and tell him what I did." It was hard to get used to. Not sure I really did get used to it.
Second, looks like a great Sonett! We're here to help in any way we can. The VSaab community is awesome and I can attest to much help over the years, both in advice and parts. It's a very giving community with no pretensions.
Enjoy that car and treasure it!
