You might want to look at the thread I started on 7/10/15. The main topic was cluth judder but also delved into the release problem. The issue is whether it is true as Jack Laurence believes that the Sachs discs where manufactured incorrectly and thus shortening it's life. His fix may extend the life of the disc but might cause the release problem if your release arm is worn. If you have one of Jack's altered discs this could be your problem. If you try the washer fix don't go to thick, it caused a grinding noise when I went with 1/8"
