Don't forget your AAA PLUS card (or get one) since you can get a
100 mile tow. Its also good to bring a friend to follow you.
He/she will be able to signal you if something is wrong(muffler
falling off, brakes stuck(there is nothing like the smell of a
stuck caliper in the morning), etc. Take the car around the block
and warm it up (motor and brakes) and take it up to speed (55mph) before you get going. I had a sonett which ran great a low speed but at 55mph
it would falter (bad fuel pump). Then spin the fuses, check your brake
lights and go for it.
