Thanks for both your replies. Of all the users of this Board your two opinions probably are two of the more highly regarded, at least by me. In this case I'll probably go with Kansas' suggestion. It coincides with my reasoning. It just happens to also be the easy way out. If I remember right the brackets with bushings installed did turn quite easily without the nut tightened before installation. The angle of the top arm is supposed to be 70 (-20) degrees while the bottom is 0; both plus or minus 2 degrees. I"ll be looking at it very carefully once the engine is in. I would expect some variation due to old springs. Thanks again.
