Hopefully a fixer-upper, but could be a parts car. This was my daily driver – green, 4-door hatchback with tan leather and all options that I planned on keeping for a long while after the purchase of a new MINI for my wife. However, I have recently purchased a newer Saab I couldn’t pass up. Car runs and drives great; includes the following upgrades – SQR (through JAK) Stage 3+ ECU, Viggen intercooler, JSP 3” downpipe to Saab Sports Exhaust with new flexpipe (2/08), Koni adjustable shocks all-around. Has had Mobil 1 0w-40 since I purchased her - 84K miles, newer alternator (12/06), newer tie rods (5/06), rear brakes (5/07). Also, CD changer in the trunk with AUX input up front and Thule roof bars. Needs – Water pump has a slow coolant leak; last water pump was done when I changed all of the coolant hoses (3/05). Gas Gauge shows empty. E-brake could be replaced. I planned to do the work and hit at least 200K, if not 300K!, but it was lightly hit in a parking lot & I got another Saab. I have not filed it yet with insurance, but this can be discussed. There is also a dent in the roof from a bout with a windstorm and tree branch. Lots of work has been done to my baby, but it’s time. Lots of records/receipts to look at, including almost all gas receipts - Sunoco 94+ (I’m that picky). No problems recommending for cross-country delivery; mostly highway miles!

Over $4500 in documented parts alone over last 2 years! I am selling my (work in progress) baby to finance a Sonett restoration. I am the 2nd owner and she's spent more than 1/2 her life in Texas. Mobil 1 every 3-4,000 miles & fresh Redline in the trans. New parts/mods include: Mitsu TD04 HOTurbo, 700+cfm intercooler, all new poly suspension bushings (genuinesaab), Bilstein HDs all around, new strut mounts, bearings, etc... new motor and trans mounts, new DI cassette, new (upgraded) BPC valve, Viggen clutch, 3" turbo-back exhaust with 2 Magnaflow mufflers (JSP), Stage 4 ECU (JSP), Infinity Kappas in front & Reference in back, new woofers in doors, foglights, shift knob, thermostat, emblems, headliner & much more! Known issues: Driver's door replaced with slightly off-color needs to be repainted to match. Transmission is original & smooth except for slight stick in 3rd at high-RPM shifts. Interior lighting short related to headlight replacement(I have the fuse out for now). There is a 'clunk' in passenger front suspension that I haven't had time to track down. Does not affect driveability. C/V boot kit included. Boot was torn by me while working on suspension; driven less than 50 miles since tear. Very gradual coolant leak (less than a pint per month) appears to be in heater hoses, though they were recently replaced. Rear pads getting thin; new pads included. Purchase also includes a box of parts (hoses, extra BPC valve, original turbo lines & inlet, etc...). This car is set up to make 250+ hp at the wheel with just a bit more work. Driver's seat worn, passenger ok with no tears, rear in good shape. All other interior electrics work perfectly, including foglights, windows & sunroof.

I bought this exceptionally clean car in rare, beautiful Ruby Red from the original owner a year ago, but have recently purchased a new car, so must offer this one for sale. It has 94,xxx miles, which is below average at approximately 8000 miles per year. The SE model is fully loaded and includes all options, such as a 6-CD changer in the trunk. I have all the original books that came with the car, and even the original window sticker. Includes new custom-fit Saab floor mats that I've stored in the trunk. Both the previous owner and myself are non-smokers. This car is an automatic, runs on regular gas, and I'm currently averaging 24.6 mpg in half city and half freeway driving. I have some receipts from the previous owner, as well as receipts for work I've done myself since I've owned the car. Within the last year, I have replaced the front struts and muffler, and have also done the major 90,000-mile service. I have put $2500 into maintenance items during the last year. The car is already smogged and ready to roll! The only malfunctions I'm aware of are that the antenna doesn't retract, the right power seat doesn't work, and the sport mode button on the shift selector popped out. This 1995 Saab 900S is in great shape, has been in the family for the past 6-7 years. I have all the service documents, some of the more recent items include a thermostat, a new oil pan, one of the A/C hoses has been replaced and the A/C functions well and it is cold, a new flex pipe in the exhaust, new front brakes about a year or so ago, new rear brakes about 1 1/2 years ago, a new alpine cd player with IPOD connection (I have the old radio if you're interested), New rear and door speakers(SE speaker upgrade), clutch was replaced at 95k miles, and many more maintenance all done by a Saab dealer. The only bad thing is there is a hole in the exhaust in the muffler closest to the rear of the car. Everything works and functions like it should except for the drivers heated seat. I'm looking to sell the car to someone that will appreciate it. The car is extremely clean and sharp looking, there are no blemishes on the interior and one small dent on the rear drivers side corner panel, hardly noticeable. In the pictures I have included the car has rims that will not be included in the purchase, it will be sold with steel wheels and Saab hubcaps. The tires are good they have about 65% tread life.

1997 Saab 900S-20K Original Miles-Silver/Charcoal Grey. I am offering for sale my parent's 1997 Saab 900S 2-door coupe as they have recently purchased a new 9-3 4-door. The car was purchased new at Fitzgerald Saab in Frederick, MD and meticulously maintained at VOB Saab in Rockville, MD over the past 10+ years. It has been used sparingly for trips to the doctor’s office, mall, grocery store, etc. with an occasional longer trip to the shore. The car has always been garaged, never driven in the snow, never in any type of accident and detailed twice yearly. There are no mechanical issues at all as, if anything, my parents were overly cautious with the maintenance, replacing or repairing anything that was even remotely suspect. Included with the purchase are all service records showing completed factory recommended services (minor and major services), interval oil changes, the original $27,000 + window sticker, all unmarked books and manuals and three sets of keys and remotes. The car is equipped with an automatic transmission, all power options including sunroof, heated charcoal cloth seats and air conditioning. The interior shows as new with no imperfections as it was never smoked nor eaten in. The silver exterior is close to perfect with two very small (>1 inch) marks on the rear bumper, one very small (>1inch) mark on the front bumper, a small scratch (>2 inch) on the drivers door edge and some minor curb rash on the right front wheel. Also included are two sets (one new) of Saab all-season floor mats with heel pads, a Saab rubber trunk mat and a set of Saab locking wheel bolts with two keys. I am asking $8500.00 or best offer for the car as it is essentially unused and in near perfect shape. Parts car or fixer-upper! *** Engine w/ <100K. *** Brand new Turbocharger (DIC). Transmission: Reverse gear has been entirely stripped, all other gears work perfectly. Rear Engine Mount loose (easy fix). Needs new struts. Needs new brakes. Body is in good shape; only problems are missing front right blinker assembly and cracked passenger side mirror (both due to vandals). CAR IS DRIVEABLE BUT WILL NOT PASS INSPECTION AS-IS. Call/Email for additional photos or questions. - I have been driving the car for 4mo. since I was run off the road (when the transmission went). I love it dearly, but cannot pay for repairs, so I must buy a cheaper car. If you do transmission work, this car is a steal.
