Suspension rock solid; I cured all typical Viggen problems with new suspension kit at 38k, new Saab 5 spoke Turbo wheels (much tougher than origonal wheels), Goodyear Eagle F1 215/45ZR1791Y tires and road force balance. For sale is my excellent condition 2002 9-3SE with premium package which offers FULL leather seats, ACC, sport suspension, and upgra ded audio system....I have owned this Saab since 56000 miles and have had the following work done at my SAAB dealer....Valve cover g asket, water pump, serpentine belt AND pulley, NEW SID so no pixels are out, and had the oil pan dropped and steam cleaned to brand new so it has NO sludge at all, and had very little to begin with....While the cover was off, the chain showed very little in the wa y of deposits I have changed the oil every 5000 miles with Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil, 0W-40, and installed a new cabin air filter. The brakes are a minimum of 60 % on the front and almost new in the back...Tires have half their tread and are the ones that came w ith the car when I bought it. AC runs ice cold, both heated seats still work, and I forgot to mention that I had a new Saab electric antenna installed also....The hatch shocks hold up the hatch also, unlike many others that you have to support with one arm while g etting something from the back. For sale is my 1999 Saab Viggen. I bought this car in May 2000 from a dealer here in Chicago. The car had 6,000 miles on it. I have had it ever since. All maintenance was performed regularly. I just completed a 90,000 mile service. All new fluid, spark plugs, filters, oil Change and 100 point inspection. I have never had any problems with this car with the exception of one time when the DI Cassette went out. I had it replaced and have never had a problem since then. The interior of the car is in excellent shape. I have seen other saab's and I have to say that mine is the best I have ever seen. No scratches or scuffs anywhere. The outside has 2-3 small dings and the front passenger fender has a scratch where someone keyed it and I have not gotten around to fixing. Other than that the outside is in good shape. I regularly wax the car and wash it. It come with 2 sets of floor mats and 2 sets of tires. The stock rims with new <5,000 BFGoodrich performance tires and a set of Borbets with winter rubber. This is a great car and I am not sure why I am getting rid of it but it is time for something new.

I~Rm selling simply because it is just too fast, too stiff and has too much torque for my taste. Everything works perfectly. The only flaws are some scuff marks on the bumpers, a broken left fog light and small crack on lower front spoiler. This car was used for a short highway commute and occasional trips to Michigan. Car runs great; expanding family means we need something a little bigger. I have had the car three about 3.5 years. I have only run fully synthetic oil, K&N reusable air filter, I added XM radio so all you need to do is add your SKYFi2 and you are ready to go. Flush of brake system, DI cassette has been replaced, replaced front brake pads and rotors, catalytic converter replaced. Car has been well maintained. It is not new so it does have some stone chips, but less than you would expect on a six year old car. The car has the upgraded Harman Kardon stereo system with CD and sounds great. Car comes with 4 Blizzack tires mounted on the car now, will also include 4 Toyo Prx 4 p205/50VR6 tires for your summer rides. I have three other Saabs so my stable is full, something has to go. Both sets of tires have lots of life left, I purchased the Blizzacks last winter. Car won third place at the Saabs@Carlisle People~Rs Choice Car Show May 2005 in Carlisle, PA. It has been extremely reliable and inexpensive to own - only changed brake pads, battery, and tires with the exception of 2 motor mounts I recently replaced. The battery is <1 year old and the tires have only 13k miles. It drips a little oil but only have to add a quart every 3000 miles. Extra set of new Saab factory floor mats included. I've owned it since it was taken off the showroom floor in Miami, FL. I live in Rockford, Il, right outside Chicago. The car is in nearly perfect condition, always put away for the winter, and never abused. It is a five door with black exterior and has some aesthetic options that were only available in 2002 like brown leather seats (embossed with the Viggen emblem, of course) and a great looking carbon fiber dash. This past summer the windshield had to be replaced because of a run in with a rock. I~Rve never had any other trouble. The engine runs great. All the maintenance is up to date and the synthetic only oil was changed religiously before and after every winter and within every three thousand miles during the spring, summer, and fall. I do have a few upgrades from the normal Viggen to make this car even more special than it already is; some installed and some still in the box. All the upgrades were taken from a list of things from GenuineSaab. The parts that I have installed are: 6-Point Subframe Brace, Rear Anti-Roll Bar 7/8~T, Open Air Intake, Steering Rack Brace & Clamp Kit and a new set of wheels and tires (18~T BBS CH, bright silver with Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD07, 235/40ZR18). I have had these parts installed for a little over a year and they~Rve made a huge difference in controlling the torque steer and body roll. I have kept all the original parts including the viggen wheels, so those would come with the car. The next upgrade, which is still in boxes, is the GenuineSaab Stage 4 Package(includes replacement ECU, SaabSport Cat Back Exhaust, 3.5 Fuel Reg, Taliaferro 3in Racat/DP, Forge Intercooler, and Turbo Intake pipe) and a Sport Transmission Mount. It will increase the car from 235hp and 250ft&#8729;lbs to 310hp and 325ft&#8729;lbs . You can check out the parts and see reviews at the GenuineSaab website.

This saab ran until Thursday the 13th when something on the bottom of the radiator came loose. I was worried that there might be head-gasket/head damage, but I had a mechanic come and look at it. The only major problem is that there is something wrong with the radiator (might be a broken hose, or a busted radiator, could not see the leak). This is a 2003 9-3 Linear sedan in excellent condition. I just replaced the SAI valve, rear brakes and battery. The front brakes were replaced last month. The Fuzion tires have about 6000 miles on them. The car has heated seats and the 6 disc cd changer. The car had the package that includes 16" wheels, but I replaced them with 17" Vector wheels. They have a few "curb rash" spots b/c I bought the wheels used, but look good overall. There a couple of very small dings that are barely noticable. I have used the same certified Saab mechanic since 1989. I'll provide his name and phone # if needed. I had him adjust the wastegate on the turbo to give the car more power, I can have it adjusted back if this is a problem for anyone. I get 24-26 mpg on every tank of gas, city and hwy combined. Great example of an original 9-3 SE H.O.T., black with tan leather, 5spd, and all of the options available ~V ACC, power everything, moonroof, front/rear heated seats. Many new parts; including a full 60k tune-up at 73k miles when I purchased vehicle, water pump, engine mount, battery, a/c compressor and dryer (blows to 43 degrees!). Car also has Infinity Kappa front speakers and an aftermarket 10-disc cd-changer in the trunk. Checked for any potential sludge issues at time of tune-up and none were found. SID works perfectly. All work done at Swedish Motors in Falls Church, VA. Downsizing to one vehicle and unfortunately must sell this one due to manual transmission. About $3k invested getting it ready to run another 100k miles, last task are the rear struts that will need to be replaced soon. Lots of fun to drive!
