Don was helped by a guest appearance from the SPG 9 team, Mike Schadan and Dave Kennedy. Mike also presented and took questions about the Tech II tool.
One of the attendee's 9-3's was driven into the service area and Don plugged in the Tech II and showed us around the Saab computer system. He finished by programming an extra remote for the owner.
Cliff Quan and Roger Wapner, the two who helped to organize the 'reboot' of the BASC and this event, fired up the grill and fed everyone while we chatted about Saabs, checked out many of Paul Perry's vintage Saabs (especially his racing Sonett). There were some test drives of some of Mario Bouza's used 9-3's he had available (he even sold one to an attendee on the spot). Some car swapping and ride sharing was sparked off and soon Saabs were flying up and down the street. It was a very fun event for all.
