THE SAAB NETWORK and SAAB CLUB of NORTH AMERICA created the Crisman Brothers Award in December of 2002 as a tribute to Kyle and Tim Crisman, two young SAAB enthusiasts, who the SAAB Community tragically lost in an accident on November 3 2002.
The award is a PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD presented each year at the SAAB OWNERS CONVENTION to young SAAB enthusiasts up to and including 21 years of age. The award was created to encourage and advance the interest and pride in SAAB ownership and development. The award encourages the use of Safety, Automotive Science, and Pride in SAAB ownership. There are First, Second and Third place Trophies presented.
Kyle and Tim Crisman were avid SAAB enthusiast who were loved and respected by all that came in contact with them. They both worked part time after school at a local SAAB garage in their hometown of Amherst New Hampshire. They worked hard to earn the money to buy and repair their SAAB. It is with hope that this award will help advance the interest and dedication to SAABS by the youth of the SAAB Community as was held by the CRISMAN BROTHERS.
The Award is presented by Saabnet.com, the Crisman Brothers Award Committee, and Committee Chairman A. Michael Connolly.
