Joe,

Your problem may be bad check valves in the washer lines. These small inline
devices are designed to prevent fluid from flowing back out of the lines.
This gives 'instant on' spray. With age these valves freeze up and don't
allow fluid to flow in either direction. You can remove them, replace them or
even drill out the blocked valve, but if you remove or drill them you will
lose the 'instant on' spray feature.
