Andrew Stohr Repair
166 Old Swanzey Road
Spofford
(603) 363-4453

I would like to call attention to Andrew Stohr and his establishment.
Andrew has been my mechanic for nearly a decade during which time his
expertise and generous spirit have helped me keep my familys string of
Saabs in peak working order.  Through personal attentions Andrew has saved
me both money and trouble; often identifying future repairs and coupling
them into an active project.

It is the personal touch that makes Andrew Stohr Saab Repair standout from
the competition.  We have always felt that repair options were clearly
spelled out with candid advice placing the decisions into our hands.  This
cooperation has given us involvement in our cars maintenance at every level.
I have never felt the least bit of pressure to follow a course of action.  On
more than one occasion we were guided away from labor intensive repairs that
clearly would have been a boon for business.  It is this strength of character
and honesty that have earned my trust.

Plainfield

Francis Renaud runs the shop at AMC Service.  I've had him work on a 1993
9000CS, a 1995 900S, and a 1987 SPG, but he also performs maintenance and
warranty repairs on the many used Saabs and other used European cars that
AMC Sales sells.  It's a short trip.

Automeister
Rt. 4, beside Daniels Hall
Nottingham, between Northwood and Lee
(603) 942-7100

I have never written an email to applaud any type of service.  But the care
and honesty I received from Wolfgang needs to be addressed.  I was quoted by
a Saab dealer that I needed an extensive exhaust job that would cost around
$1,000.  I called Wolfgang, based on the existing note about automeister on
this website and Wolfgang said he wasn't sure how much he would charge, but
that he could take a look at it.  Well, within 3 minutes it was decided I
needed a $5 dollar clamp.  Wolf put it on in no time and I saved more money
than I could have ever imagined and gained a mechanic for life(or as long as
Wolf wants me and my cars!  Thank you Wolf for the service, the stories and
above all the honesty and integrity that you displayed.  I look forward to
telling all my friends about Automeister.  Sincerely Dave Kennedy

Wolfgang and Steve are partners and two of the most reputable, qualified
mechanics I have ever met.  They specialize in Saab and Volvo repair and
really know the ins and outs of these cars.  Many years of experience,
great automotive knowledge, honest opinions, and attention to detail make
this a great garage.  They also have quite a few used cars for sale and a
large inventory of used parts.  I have trusted them for advice since I
owned my first Saab in high school and go to them for service on the 900 my
wife and I now own.  Wolfgang will also be happy to talk to you about his
side business, custom wood sawing.

I recently brought my 9000 to Brutus Auto; after trying my luck with a few
other shops that claimed to be SAAB specialists. Ralph fixed an ongoing
problem I've had with my car. He fixed it quickly and at the right price. I
recommend him.

Commercial Tech Service
85 River Road
Bow
(603) 225-8844

After another Saab repair shop closed, my mechanic referred me to John at CTS!
They are wonderful!  I currently own a 1986 900T and a 1994 900TC, and they
have done incredible maintance and repairs for me.  One time my 86 was towed
to them on a Friday morning and they could not get to it!  By chance they went
in on Saturday and got me repaired so I could make it to work Saturday pm!  I
drive over an hour up to them from MA, and they are so worth it, and I will
continue to do so!  Exceptional Saab mechanics are difficult to find, so you
keep them, and I want the world to know about them!

Honest repair shops are hard to find! We purchased a Saab and were referred
to Commercial Tech Service by the dealership. We were faced with an expensive
repair on our 94 900 and were quoted prices from other local shops. CTS gave
us different options to save money. They have used parts available and were
able to repair my car at 1/2 the cost. I would recommend them to ANY Saab
lover!

Joe Cogan is the owner/technician of The Saabshop in Bow, NH, a
new facility. We specialize in Saab maintenance and repair, while also
servicing most other makes and models.

Joe has been awarded Saab's Master Tech status as a factory trained Saab
technician and has been certified Master Automobile Technician by the
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. He has 30+ years

A/C Chevrolet, a Saab dealership. Since that time he has been employed
by several other Saab dealerships that provided him with factory
training on a regular basis, keeping him abreast of the latest
developments in technology.

Joe has invested in specialty Saab tools and the scanning technology
necessary in diagnosing today's car problems. His specialty is in
diagnosing electrical problems.

For the past 2 years he was employed by a Saab/Volvo independent repair

These guys at Saabtech have given me honest, quality service on many major
repairs over the years.  When I went to Colorado and had to get a new
clutch put in, I called them and asked for advice.  They were polite, and
very helpful.  I can't say enough good things about Saabtech and its
employees.

Saabworks rocks! They are a Saab specialist and I have gone there with
my Saabs for over 11 years and won't go anywhere else. They are honest,
reasonably priced, totally reliable and know what they are doing in
every aspect of Saab maintenance. Plus, they've done things like replace
an alloy wheel center cap and light bulbs at no charge, sold me used
parts to save me money and fixed things they noticed needed repair (they
call first). And unlike the guys at a lot of repair places who drive a
make other than what they work on, they drive Saabs, too.

Saabworks is one of the reasons we own Saabs. When our 9-5 is off
warranty there's only one place it will go. Saabworks!

Best garage I have ever dealt with in over 20 years of having
cars repaired. HONEST, prompt, affordable, and they will bend over
backwards to help you out. For example, I once brought my car in with a
nail in one tire and one of the guys grabbed a tire matching mine from a
pile of "still good" tires out back and set it up for $20!! Hmnn, I
wonder if the dealership would do that? They are also happy to deal with
extended warrantees. They fix lights that are out without an appointment
and only charge the cost of the bulb. Amazing.

If you bought a car from Saab Nashua North, DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE
DEPT.! Total ripoff machine. Forget about the free detailing and loaner
(which you can only get if you call 3 weeks in advance). Just go
directly to Saabworks.
