Idle Air Control Valve
The valve compensates for the idle drop with the conpressor in operation. This unit comes from A Bosch L3 injection system, very popular on European cars at the late 80's. Saab has used a similsr unit with a different orifice.

Compressor Generator Tensioner
A general view of the layout. Note that the Generator is seated permanent, and the layout of the bracket for the 7H15 compressor from a Saab 9000.

Belt tensioner
A close up of the belt tensioner. As on the origianl kit, it holds the compressor's bracket. Unlike the original, it is fastened by 2 studs rather than 1 on the intake manifold. Note extra mounting point for the 9000 generator.

Original compressor's brackt
The bracket for the 7H15 compressor is attached to the original bracket of the "Big York".

Radiator unit
Heavy duty radiator core. Note the main fan built from a C900 turbo unit with a 2 speed motor from a 9000 with a series resistor. On the left, a dual stage thermo-contact from a 1994 9000 and a lower coolant output for more efficient cooling.

Extra pusher fan
An extra pusher fan located in front of the radiator pack, and is operated with the first speed of the main fan.

Firewall pass
Both refrigerant hoses pass the fire wall at the exact point which has been specified by Saab
