SAAB FOR 1990—The Saab 900 series receives two significant equipment upgrades for 1990 by offering Saab's specially designed Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and a driver's side air bag as standard equipment. This means that no matter which model Saab owners choose—from entry level 900's to 9000 flagship models—they enjoy the same basic safety package regardless of the car's purchase price. The Saab 900,shown here, also receives new wheel covers and continues to offer Saab's two-liter, 16-valve engine, delivering 128 horsepower and 128 Ibs.-ft. of torque. It is available as a three-door hatchback and four-door sedan with manual or automatic transmission.
