Some of the world's top drivers and motorcycle racers competed head-to-head in 600 horsepower, Garrett turbocharged Saab 9-3 race cars in the Michelin Race of Champions, held December 8-10 in Spain's Canary Islands.


In the final event, four time World rally champion ('96-'99) Tommi Makinen piloted his Saab 9-3 past the Saab of recently crowned 2000 World rally Champion Marcus Gronholm for the win.
