Subject: Re: 9-5 Air re-circulation noises

no problem at all to program the way it has to start. you can choose auto, econ even off. as a matter of fact in my Saab local dealer they used to set it to start at econ (no air conditioning on) because they said that way you donĄt make the compresor work during the whole year (even in winter) but I had to remind them that below 14 †C the compresor stop atomatically. About the way to program the start mode I canĄt remember the way but IĄm well sure it is written in the manual. If you canĄt find it I can take a look at mine. About the air re-circulating noises I can heard it in a 2001 9-5 Aero from the first day, and I think that itĄs the discharge pressure of the turbo, as someone said before. Maybe you can heard better if you take down the window (yes, I know that with that great ar conditioning system you canĄt even remember last time you drove with the windows wide open) and you will heard the pssssss better. hope it helps Alvaro (Spain) 9-3 Tid 9-5 Aero "MGDIII" <meldaveynopsamlysts.com> wrote in message news:21773222.0205221128.35e4efb8nopsaming.google.com... > I've got a 2000 9-5 Aero and don't hear this noise at all, the > ventilation system is very quiet except when on highest two fan > settings.
