Salutations: This is going to sound nutty - but check the battery first.. It probably is a seized starter motor or it's not lined up on on the flywheel quite right - it could even be that motor you picked up is actually a very expensive planter miscatalogued by the shipping agent - but after my experience trying to sort out a serious turbo stutter that turned out to be a simple oil leak across the distributor - I'm going for the most simple explanation possible first from now on!
