Cross
member removal
  - Drian and remove the radiator
- Remove two 10mm bolts at each end of the cross member
- Remove the grille

      - Four T25 Torx screws

          - Two visible at top
- Two recessed at outer ends

- Remove the headlights

      - Two 8mm screws at the top

- Loosen the T25 at the outer corner, at about halfway up the light

      - No need to completely remove it

- Rotate the marker light outwards
- Remove the 10mm bolt at the bottom outer corner of the headlight

      - Try to mark its location in the bracket first because it affects the
        aim of the headlight

          - a dab of spray paint would do nicely

- Remove & disconnect the headlight
- Tug the intercooler/condenser assembly toward the passenger compartment
- Locate and remove the 10mm-head bolts on each vertical member
- When the cross member is loose (or loose enough to get the fan out),
    remove the fan

      - Two 10 mm bolts at the left end as you face it
- One 10mm nut on the right

          - be very careful to avoid pushing the bolt back through the
            radiator and getting lost
- replace the nut as soon as possible to capture the bolt

- disconnect the connector at the right side of the engine bay (as you face
    the car)
- Install the new fan

      - you can secure the bolt with a piece of tread or fine wire to keep it
        from pushing through the radiator
- Pull the fan as far us as possible to keep it from dragging on the
        lower cross member

- When it's secured and connected, start the car and run the AC to see that
the fan works OK and is clear to operate

  - Assembly is the reverse of disassembly

      - Check the marker light grommets, at the back of the lights to make
sure they're securely installed in the body

          - If not, pull them off the pegs, install them in the body holes and
then firmly push the marker light pegs into the grommets; there's a
notch that has to pop into the grommets.
