the coolant
- Any *-Mart or auto parts store sells a simple, cheap, easy-to-use
antifreeze checker
- Make sure the battery is in good shape
- If you're not sure, just be ready to replace it, as battery problems
will show up in winter
- A good set of jumper cables is a good thing to have in the spare tire
area
