One idea here--it could possibly have been the gas the dealer put in it----like 87 octane in the tank of the '03...It was fueled when I picked it up.
But there is ABSOLUTELY no way this particular car was peppier/more responsive than my 2002 9-5 AERO, or my 2002 9-3 SE.
I mean truly--not even close. My 2002 9-5 AERO would eat this car for lunch, and my 2002 9-3 SE would devour it as a snack.
Sorry to disagree, but it's how I see it. This car is underpowered IMO. SAAB is obviously addressing this--however slowly--to get more ponies into this ride.
I have no quarrel with the price of the car. On another note,I did try the AM radio, for all you NPR listeners--AM radio is better than my '02 9-3. The rest of the impressions of the stereo system are that it is an embarrasment to such a nicely styled car.
I'm trying to find a way to describe, or not describe the seats. Average.
They did leave me ooooing or ahhhhing ---another way would be to say they did did not exactly "wrap me in glove-like comfort" either. Lateral support was disappointing to this very long time SAAB owner. So I chose mediocre on that basis--nothing absolutely grand and nothing totally offensive with regards to the drivers seat.
