I am suspecting this is related to either the rear glass breakage loop or the drivers door module (DDM).
If it is in fact a break in the window loop, and also assuming that I can locate an area of wear in the loop where the loop is broken, is there a compound that would work to fix it? (similar to defroster repair compound stuff?).
If anyone else has had random bouts of the alarm going off I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Some possible related items:
Recently had the battery disconnected for a couple of hours while ignition coils where being replaced. (alarm issued showed up next day).
Door lock acted weird on driver's side one day before alarm started sounding randomly. Pressed Unlock on fob and doors appeared to all unlock, however, driver's door would not open and was still locked. A couple of lock/unlock presses on the fob resulted in success.
Outside mirrors may be doing crazy things (losing memory with seat settings, sometimes they won't respond when trying to adjust.
Any help greatly appreciated!
