It's getting complicated now and if they don't have a Tech 2 then it is kind of an uphill battle with my earlier suggestions.
You can try to disconnect the battery and hook a wire between pos and neg cables to drain the system but it is no guarantee that it will reset adaption.
It could be that the pump is faulty and studying the fuel pump duty cycle could catch that. Maybe they have a generic scan tool that would display fuel pump duty cycle???
