"It's not so much under-powered as unresponsive. When I would press the accelerator in a way that would make my previous cars jump, this thing would barely accelerate. Pushing deeper into the pedal resulted in a gradual increase in acceleration. The only way to make the thing really move was to stomp the accelerator to the floor; not something I want nor should have to do just to pull into traffic or when changing lanes to pass. Even when stomping the accelerator, there was an ever so slight delay. Maybe this is an automatic transmission thing; this was the first one I owned."
This is not the usual performance for this car. Maybe a Tech can step in and give the possible reasons yours was unresponsive. Mine is an automatic wagon and is no way sluggish or unresponsive. I change plugs around 30K miles with the specified ones and use 91-93 octane gas.
Some of your problems like the automatic door locks are known problems. The others I have no knowledge of in my readings or discussions with Master Techs.
How many miles were on the car when you got it and how many now?
