OK, changing the light bulb is a 10 minute job the second time you do it. The manual says remove the washer reservoir after you remove the bumper cover. Don't believe everything you read. For the left side headlight, the filler spout for the washer reservoir is removable by hand. Twist a bit and pull up. That gives you plenty of space to remove the back cover for the headlight.
(1) disconnect battery
(2) remove filler spout
(3) remove back cover
(4) carefully twist bulb/ballast assembly counterclockwise (as if looking toward the front of the car from the driver's seat) about 45 degrees and remove
(5) disconnect the black plastic retainer ring by unsnapping and opening
(6) disconnect electrical plug
(7) put new bulb in retainer ring, aligning two tabs, snap closed
(8) wipe any fingerprints/oil from bulb
(9) replace retainer ring/bulb/ballast assembly in headlight housing, rotate clockwise until detent is reached
(10) replace rear cover
(11) replace filler spout.
(12) reconnect battery.
In my fantasy, GM/Opel/Vauxhall delivered the "remove the bumper, remove the reservoir" manual to Saab. Saab engineers took one look at that and said "That's a crazy way to change a light bulb. Let's just make the spout removable."
