2006 9-3 Aero Coolant System Hoses - Replacement

So, about a year ago I bought this Aero SC with about 180K miles. Put some money into it and it has been pretty darn reliable. Earlier in the Fall it developed a coolant leap which I traced to the two small hoses that lead to and from the reservoir. Easiest maintenance job ever! Nice.
Yesterday afternoon, and again this morning I got the low coolant message and added a little water. Clearly a new leak... Now those little hoses I replaced looked pretty degraded just at the connection, to the point they actually split. One last thing, couple times over the past several days I have seen a spot of liquid on the driveway, looks like back from the radiator about 1' (30cm) approximately on the centerline, but I couldn't find a source when I crawled under the car.
To my point: are the hoses on this engine "known" to fail at this mileage/age? I.e. should I just replace all the rubber bits vs being in a cycle where I'm replacing everything over the next 6-months piecemeal? I don't want to just throw money at the problem, so just looking for some advice from people who have dealt with this.
Thanks in advance
