I recently picked up an 07 Aero convertible with 150,000 miles and a fairly comprehensive stack of maintenance receipts since 40,000 miles. It runs great, after I put in new plugs and coils. No leaks or codes. But I am concerned that the belt is likely original. It was "checked" at 80, 100, and 140 K service points.
My question is what is the expected life (miles or years) of these belts and should the tensioner and water pump be changed at the same time?
