‘04 SS Aero. Car starts normally ALMOST every time but wvery 20 or 30 times I get just
A click noise from the starter but nonsign of bendix kicking out and certsinly no starter spinning.
I have lived with this for months so have noticed something. When I cannot grt it to start I
Push the car, put it in gear (thank g-d its a 6 speed) and pop the clutch just a little, rotating
The engine/flywheel just a little, hit the starter afterwards and BAM! It starts as normal. Now
I have to admit I have thr dreaded steering wheel lock malfunction so hooked up a starter switch
To the relay in thr engine compartment to start the car. Perhaps that is what is causing thr
Problem so I dont wana front. But seems very random to me.

Anybody had such an issue?
