Michael,
Your ABS /TCS light coming ON could be a source of various issues. Loose wiring, connectors, ABS sensors, reluctor rings. Thech2 would greatly narrow the cause of the fault down, but if you don't hold one in your possession, you can visually inspect reluctor rings for integrity as well as ABS sensor connections. You can also do a continuity checks via multimeter of the all ABS wheel sensors, conductors in the system using WIS electrical diagram, while someone is jiggling the wires.
As for battery running out of charge:
What I would do w/o Tech2 is meter how much DC current is being drawn from the battery, via multimeter, after about 15 min after engine shutdown to let most controllers / modules go to sleep, provided that you fool vehicle door / hatch switches.
Having a number of DC- mA (most likely) I would then tap into various modules via fuse panel(s) to see what module(s) draw mA - current.
